We are a friendly, highly motivated, Medical Practice looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to join our Nursing team.
The hours will be 21 per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays), however, flexibility will be required to cover annual leave and sickness absence.
Salary is dependant on experience.
The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the practice, working in conjunction with the GPs, Practice Nursing Team and other members of the primary healthcare team.
Applicants should have proven experience and sound knowledge of general treatment room duties such as venepuncture, wound care management, conducting ECGs, performing ear syringing, routine adult immunisations, injections and health checks. Experience of Near Patient Testing for patients taking Warfarin would be preferable but training can be given. The ability to undertake cervical cytology would also be preferable but is not essential.
Applicants should be registered with a recognised professional body and should adhere to the standards of care as set out by the NMC.
Communication, pro-activity and team working are all skills required to successfully fulfil this role. You should be able to prioritise your own workload and have experience and confidence in dealing with face to face consultations.

Knowledge of General Practice and Vision clinical system is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
